What does a “standard work day” look like for educators and SROs? Ask anyone who works on a school campus and they’ll tell you a “standard work day” doesn’t exist. Working with students often requires arriving to campus early, staying well beyond the final bell and prepping for classes and activities during their personal time.
To assist educators and SROs in meeting their annual training requirements, the ACSS offers several online programs that have been designed to expand the availability of some of our traditional classroom offerings to the web.
Participants can complete courses at their own pace, within their home or classroom, during a time that works best for their schedule. These self-paced courses are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for a specified period of time. Online versions of ACSS courses include features such as slides with audio narration, photographs, graphics, videos, review activities, scenarios, and recommended optional reading.
