Human Trafficking Awareness for Educators Online
Human Trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion in exchange for labor, services, or a commercial sex act. This course will define what human trafficking is and what trafficking looks like among students today. Topics discussed will include the signs of human trafficking and how those working with students can better identify it, including how traffickers exploit vulnerabilities to victimize youth. This course will emphasize why it is critically important for those in law enforcement and educational environments to be aware of the problem and involved in the process.
