Act 551 and 622, 2021

In accordance with Acts 551 and 622 of 2021, the Arkansas Center for School Safety (the Center) is collecting information regarding school resource officer (SRO) programs in school districts/open enrollment charter schools. The information collected will be confidential and allow the Center to monitor compliance in meeting the training requirements of these Acts.

There are links to two forms below. Form 1 is to collect information about your district/school and Form 2 is to collect information about your district/school’s SRO(s).  All districts/schools should complete and submit Form 1. If your district/school does not have a SRO, you would enter zero for the “Number of School Resource Officers (SROs) in School District” question in Form 1 and would only need to submit that form. If your district/school has a SRO, you will also need to complete and submit Form 2 for each individual SRO. The number of SROs that you reported in the box for “Number of School Resource Officers (SROs) in School District” in Form 1 should match the number of SRO forms submitted.
