This 3 and a half day course provides continued development for experienced school resource officers. The first part of this course reviews and up dates the knowledge and skills that SROs need to effectively perform in a school environment. The final half of the course will focus on solo-engagement tactics which provide officers, who may find themselves “first on the scene,” with the necessary mental and physical skills. Also included will be practical exercises using Simunitions in mock scenarios to gain experience in applying the tactics and techniques learned in the classroom.

• The course will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day.
• Prerequisite: SROs attending this class must have successfully completed the SRO I Basic course.
• This class earns credits in our Degree Program.
