SROs in the Classroom

This course equips SROs with the tools and strategies needed to develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate prevention education in school settings. Participants will learn how to identify relevant topics (e.g., drug awareness, bullying prevention, internet safety), build structured lesson plans, and present with confidence.

The class emphasizes communication techniques, student engagement, and collaboration with school staff to ensure successful and impactful presentations. Hands-on activities and peer feedback will help officers refine their delivery style and connect more effectively with students.
